F.A.Q.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Process
Check back often for updates. As we receive questions from the congregation, we’ll post answers here.

  1. How long will the search last?
We are anticipating that the process will take about a year, although we’re committed to finding the best possible new rector for St. Peter’s.
  2. When will the Search Committee get names?
We will get names when priests apply, either directly to St. Peter’s through our website, through the diocesan website, or through Bishop Curry.
  3. What if I have a name to suggest to the committee?
Ask that priest to look at our Search website and apply. We cannot consider a name unless that person applies, either directly to us or through the diocese and Bishop Curry.
  4. Is the Interim Rector a possible candidate for the permanent rector?
No. According to diocesan hiring policy the interim rector is not eligible for consideration.
