F.A.Q.
Frequently Asked Questions about the Process
Check back often for updates. As we receive questions from the congregation, we’ll post answers here.
- How long will the search last?
We are anticipating that the process will take about a year, although we’re committed to finding the best possible new rector for St. Peter’s. - When will the Search Committee get names?
We will get names when priests apply, either directly to St. Peter’s through our website, through the diocesan website, or through Bishop Curry. - What if I have a name to suggest to the committee?
Ask that priest to look at our Search website and apply. We cannot consider a name unless that person applies, either directly to us or through the diocese and Bishop Curry. - Is the Interim Rector a possible candidate for the permanent rector?
No. According to diocesan hiring policy the interim rector is not eligible for consideration.
